Danny Ray Thigpen

Danny Ray Thigpen of Jones County passed away Monday, April 18, 2022.  A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his residence, 702 Cumslo Rd, Gray. 

Danny was born April 8, 1955 in Macon, Georgia to the late Charlie Thigpen and Fay Purser Thigpen. 

Danny is survived by his fiancé, Penny Bunn; sons, Ray Thigpen of Ft. Valley, Josh Thigpen (Jessica) of Macon, and future step-daughter, Autumn Freymuth of Pooler; brothers Neal Thigpen (Sandra) of Jackson and Dr. Larry Thigpen (Mireya) of Macon; grandchildren, Destinee Heath, Nate Heath, Tyler Thigpen, Madyson Heath, Hunter Thigpen, Brantley Thigpen, and Kaiden Thigpen; nephews, Brad Thigpen (Melanie) and Charlie Thigpen; niece Lisa Willingham (Scott).  Lifelong friend Bubba Grimes (Teresa) of Jones County.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
