Clara Chandler Smith

Clara Lee Chandler Smith passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. Services and burial will be announced at a later date. Clara, the daughter of the late Alan Lewis Chandler and Ruth Magdaline Kellye Chandler was born September 19, 1946, in Talladega, Alabama. Her husband, Emmett Smith and her son. Emmett Eugene Smith, Sr. preceded her in death. She was previously employed with Carter’s. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Lisa Smith; grandchildren, Emmett Smith, Austin Smith, Dustin Davidson and Jacob Davidson; sisters, Ann Ivey and Sally Ghent; and two great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
