Christine "Chris" Short

Christine “Chris” Short of Forsyth passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Forsyth Apostolic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Monroe Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeremy Causey will officiate.

Chris was born February 15, 1953 in Gallagher, West Virginia. Her mother, Juanita Martha Hughes Hall preceded her in death.  She was a faithful member of Forsyth Apostolic Church since 1977.  Chris retired from Walmart as a cashier after thirty years of service.

Chris is survived by her husband, Art Short of Forsyth; children, Diana Short of Houston, Texas and Jason Short (Kimberly) of Forsyth; father, Frank Hall of Forsyth; grandchildren, Matthew Short and Andrew Short; sister, Ruth Passmore (Billy) of Culloden.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
