Charles Wallace Stuart, 93 of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Ebenezer Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Born on May 23, 1933, in Monroe County, Georgia, Wallace was the son of the late Preston Stuart and Fannie Lee Allen Stuart. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Marie Speir Stuart.
Wallace graduated from Mary Persons High School and retired from Robins Air Force Base after 38 years of dedicated service as an equipment specialist. He proudly served his country through the Georgia National Guard, retiring after 27½ years of service.
A devoted member of Ebenezer Church since 1965, Wallace faithfully served his church in numerous leadership roles. Throughout the years, he served as chairman of the Administrative Council and was a dedicated member of the Finance Committee, Pastor-Parish Committee, and Board of Trustees. His unwavering faith, leadership, and commitment to his church and community will be remembered by all who knew him.
Outside of Church, Wallace was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed following Mary Persons High School and the University of Georgia football teams, attending games for many years. He also loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
Wallace is survived by his children: Aubrey Stuart, Donna Quick, and Tami Worth (Ricky); grandsons, Cory Gossett and Peyton Quick; and devoted friend, Judy Mackey.
In addition to his wife and parents, Wallace was preceded in death by his siblings: Helen Stuart Kimbell, Hollis Preston Stuart, James Glover Stuart, and Sara Gladys Stuart Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Church, 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.
