Bonnie was born to Hugh D. “Bud” and Mattie Ruth McLane and raised in Hartwell, GA.  She attended Hartwell High School and North Georgia College.  A lifelong homemaker and wife to Kenneth T. Morris, she moved to Forsyth when Kenneth joined the faculty of Tift College where the two raised their family.

Bonnie was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Forsyth.

Bonnie was an active member of the Monroe County Jaycettes with whom she maintained many lifelong friendships.

Bonnie loved plants and flowers.  She could propagate a new plant from a stem and surrounded herself with them.  She often gave young plants from her collection to her friends and family to cherish.  She loved feeding birds in her yard and taking care of her pet cats and dogs.

Bonnie was an avid fan of the Mary Persons Bulldogs, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves cheering for them in person and at home.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Dale Tyson and Clell Morris (Dana), grandchildren Jeffrey Tyson (Terri), Luke Morris, Macy Morris, and Kenley Morris, Kalie Loggins (Cole) and Kara Gibbs (Aaron), and great-grandchildren Trystyn, Jaylyn, and Jaxson Hovey and Duke Loggins.

Thank you to all of Bonnie’s wonderful care team especially the many ladies at the Forsyth Pruett Nursing Home.  She loved you all and you touched her family forever.
