Bonnie Johnson

January 28, 1959 — November 23, 2022

Bonita “Bonnie” Johnson (Bond), age 63, of Culloden, Georgia, loving wife, mother, and Granny, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Atrium Navicent Health surrounded by loved ones.

Born to Horace and Nadell (McDaniel) Bond on January 28, 1959 at Norfolk Naval Station in Norfolk, Virginia.

She attended Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia. She was a grill operator at Waffle House in Forsyth and Macon, where she was affectionately known as Mama Bonnie.

She is preceded in death by her brother Dwight Terrell “Doo” Bond.

Bonnie leaves behind her loving husband, Clifford Johnson of Culloden, GA, daughters Jennifer Bond, Amber Tyner, Connie Tyner, Melanie Yates (Johnson), and Bridget Morris (Johnson). She is also survived by her three sisters, Nina Bond, Octavia “O.T.” Bond, and Zerah Bond McEntire (Ray), and her grandchildren Kain, Gavin, and Chloe Waldoch (Jennifer), Cassandra Harvey, Clay Tyner, Daniel Faulkner (Amber), Draco Thompson, Elizabeth, Quinella, and Maqueta Parker (Connie), Kannon, Kaden, and Kasen Yates (Melanie), and Emery Morris (Bridget), and many precious nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in Bonnie’s honor.
