Bobbie Clark Bankston

Bobbie Lunell Clark Bankston passed away Friday, August 9, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, August 12, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Barnesville with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  Rev. Garth Forster will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the church.

Bobbie, the daughter of the late John Beckum Clark and Annie Bell Vaughn Clark was born June 22, 1932, in Zebulon, Georgia.  Her husband, Jerrill R. Bankston, her son, Randy Bankston and her sister, Emily Conley preceded her in death. She retired from William Carter Company as an inspector and was a member of First Baptist Church in Barnesville.

Survivors include her children, Dot Nelms of Barnesville and Terry Bankston (Rachel) of Covington; sister, Betty Powell of Barnesville : brother, Larry Clark of Barnesville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
