Billy Thomas Parrish

Billy Thomas Parrish passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Elder Ben Nessmith, Jr. will officiate.  The family will greet friends following the service at the Mausoleum.  Mr. Parrish, the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Parrish and Flossie Mae Rump Parrish was born December 19, 1937, in Houston County Georgia. His wife, Jeannie Phillips Parrish, his sons, Robert Milton Parrish and David Thomas Parrish, and his brother, Alvin Parrish preceded him in death. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a member of the Mickey Fuller Masonic Lodge#720 and a Mason for fifty years.Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Pam Parrish of Culloden; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Parrish (Neal) Hill of Warner Robins, Amanda Michelle Parrish (Nate) Ballew of Durham, Maine, Jason Robert Parrish of Savannah, Dusty William Parrish of Macon, Misty Sheree Parrish (Cody) Kitchens of Macon, E3 Kristi Nicole Parrish of Norfolk, Virginia and Kayla Marie Parrish of Culloden; and four great grandchildren.    In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, c/o Al Sihah Shrine Temple, Post Office Box 3147, Macon, GA 31205-3147.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
