Beverly Wadley Mickle

Beverly Wadley Mickle, 80, of Macon, Georgia passed away, Monday, May 4, 2026. Funeral services will be private.

Beverly was born on January 28, 1946, in Macon, Georgia, to the late John and Jane Wadley. She graduated from Rabun Gap Nacoochee High School. Beverly was known for her baking. Her family and friends always looked forward to her delicious baked goods during the holidays. The love she put into her baking was part of the gift itself. Because of her gift of baking, she became an entrepreneur, and owned “Sweet Sue’s Tea Room”, “The Lunch Spot”, and “Say It With Cookies”.

Beverly is survived by her husband of sixty years, Jim Mickle; her son, James Everingham Mickle of Macon; her brothers, John E. Wadley of Juliette, and William O. Wadley (Debra) of Milledgeville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, George Dole.
