Anne Walker Brasher

Anne Walker Brasher of Forsyth passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Forsyth City Cemetery.  Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  There will not be a formal visitation.

Mrs. Brasher the daughter of the late Chapman Hinson and Maidie Powell Hinson was born February 4, 1927 in Cochran, Georgia.  Her husbands, John Parker Walker and Ralph Brasher, her sisters, Christine Allen and Geraldine Griffin preceded her in death.  She was retired from Carter’s.

Mrs. Brasher is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Adecia Walker of Forsyth; grandchildren, Leigh Eastman (Kyle) of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Chip Walker (Meaghan) of Newnan; great-grandchildren, Trey Walker, Bryant Walker and Marlowe Walker.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Monroe County Library, “In Memory of Anne Walker Brasher” 62 W Main Street, Forsyth, GA 31029.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
