Ann Cecil Childre passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. Her wishes were to be cremated. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Ann, the daughter of the late Felix Beasley Childre and Annie Gail Sirmon Childre was born September 26, 1931 in Dozier, Alabama. Her daughter, Mickey Hedley predeceased her. She was retired from Carter’s.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Linda Lowe (Randy) of Roberta; grandchildren, Jody Hedley of Roberta, Brian and Heather Hortman of Birmingham, Alabama and Jill and Josh Lewis of Roberta; companion, Jimmy Stephens of Forsyth; and six great grandchildren.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
