Anita Louise White Bushoven of Forsyth passed from this life on October 2, 2023. Born on March 7,
1938 to Louis Campbell and Grethel Berkshire Campbell in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, she was the
oldest of six children. The family moved to Macon, Georgia when she was 15. At 17, she was introduced
to her first husband, L. W. White, Jr., by his sister who was her backyard neighbor. Anita and L.W.
married in 1957 and welcomed six sons, Keith (Elaine Elliott, deceased), Jeffrey (Carol Dean), Bruce
(Ginny Lehner), Roger (Theresa White), David (Julie Lumpkin), and Daniel. Daniel died in 1973 and Roger
in 1993. After spending 25 years of her life in the Cedar Grove area of Laurens County raising “the boys”
on the farm, L.W. died in 1982 and she eventually moved to Ashburn, Georgia, to be closer to her
brother. She spent the past 25 years in Forsyth near her sons, Keith and David.
During her time in Forsyth, Anita could be seen around town driving children on the school bus or
working in the school cafeteria or at Chik‐fil‐A on Bass Road in Macon. She also met and married her
husband of eight years, John Bushoven while in Forsyth. They both were active at Bethany Baptist
Church in Bolingbroke and Gideons International, where she was an active Auxiliary. John died in 2018.
In addition to the four surviving sons, Anita leaves behind twelve grandchildren and eleven great
grandchildren, and is survived by one brother and sister, Darwin Campbell and Arlene Taylor, both of
Jackson, Ga., and one stepson, Bill Bushoven of New Jersey. She was predeceased by her Sisters
Gwendolyn Baird and Sharon Rhodes, and her brother Duanne Campbell.
The family will welcome friends and family at Bethany Baptist Church in Bolingbroke at 10:00 AM on
