Andrew Lang Welker

Andrew Lang Welker of High Falls, born May 19, 1993, was promoted to heaven on Aug. 1, 2022, at the age of 29 years old. He was a beloved SON, Brother, and Father. He is survived by his parents, Kelly Dunn of High Falls, Greg and Wendi Welker of Juliette, sons Hudson and Declan Welker, brothers Trey Lane and Nick DeLong, sisters Skylar Dunn, Casie Dunkerly, and Heather Thomas, as well as many other family members and friends.

He was working at B&G in Jackson as a welder, and was also a skilled contractor. Andrew was strikingly handsome and a friend to all. He loved fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, camping, and being a dare devil. Ultimately, he loved his family and being a good father. 

A memorial and graveside service will be held at First Baptist Church of High Falls on Saturday Aug. 13, 2022 at 2 p.m. Family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. A covered dish meal will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
