Allene Newton Bush

Allene Newton Bush passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev. William Kirkland will officiate.    Mrs. Bush, the daughter of the late Charles Leo Newton, Sr. and Jewel Bryant Newton was born August 21, 1933, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, Lawrence Respress “Larry” Bush, Jr., her sons, Jerry Allen Bush and Larry “Bud” Newton Bush preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her children, Carol Owen (Frank) of Dallas, Terry Bush (Denise) of Forsyth, Jan Christensen (Brad) of Jackson and Debbie Bush of Forsyth; brother, Raymond Newton (Gwin) of Forsyth; sisters, Jane Ivey of Forsyth, Louise Maddox of Juliette and Dottie Newton of Forsyth; fourteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home but the family may be contacted at the residence, 778 Spear Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, c/o Donna Robins, 604 Spear Road, Forsyth, Ga 31029.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
