In Loving Memory of Alice Frances Cabral

Alice Frances Cabral, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 85 on February 20, 2026

Alice was the devoted wife to the love of her life, her cherished husband Bruce Cabral, who preceded her in death in 2008. Their marriage was an example of partnership, faithfulness, and enduring love for years. Though she deeply felt his loss, she carried his memory in her heart every day.

She was a proud and loving mother to five children, a treasured grandmother to four grandchildren, and great-grandmother to two great grandchildren.

Fran had a gift for working with her hands and expressing her love through creativity. She found great joy in sewing and quilting, which led her to be a long-time member of her local quilt club. Gardening and tending to flowers and plants was another source of joy in her life. Fran also had a love of reading which she passed down to her children.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents Helen and Harold Taylor, husband of 48 years Bruce Cabral, granddaughter Kennedy Taylor Stuart. Surviving members of the family: Carol Cabral (Frankie Smith), Jimmy Cabral (Angie), Linda Gibbs (Richard), Bruce Cabral (Charity), Joan Cabral. Grandchildren: Sarah Gibbs, Richard Gibbs, and Kayla Helton, Great Grandchildren: Kaylee Helton and Easton Helton.

A private memorial will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Rankin Foundation, Save of Pet of Forsyth Ga, Rob’s Place Forsyth Ga.
