Dock Lester Lenning

Dock Lester Lenning passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Christ Community Church.  Brother Steve Reeves will officiate.  Burial will be private.   Dock, the son of the late Alfred Lenning and Lettie Estelle Manley Lenning was born June 25, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia. His wife, Judy Estelle Singleton Lenning preceded him in death.  He retired from the Monroe County Board of Education as a school bus driver and was a member of Christ Community Church.  Survivors include his children, Lettie Vignati, Richard Lenning, Leroy Lenning, Ann Hughley all of High Falls, Ralph Lenning of Forsyth, James Lenning of High Falls, Jeff Lenning of Newnan, Lori Lenning of Forsyth and Benny Lenning of Florida; brother, Eddie Lenning; sister, Esther Lenning; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
