John Richard Bunn, II

John Richard Bunn, II passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Wesley Life Center-Forsyth United Methodist Church, 68 W. Johnson St., Forsyth, GA. Services and burial will be private.  John, the son of the late Frank Leslie Bunn, Sr. and Sue Goodrum Bunn, was born October 21, 1962, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was co-owner of Bunn Logging Inc. In 2004, he was awarded Forest Resources Association National Outstanding Logger.  Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Kearney Bunn of Forsyth; son, Sgt. Thomas Conor Bunn of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Sue Ann (Paul) Pannell of Forsyth and Elaine Bunn of Washington, DC; brother, Nipper (Abbie) Bunn of Forsyth; mother-in-law Ann Kearney; sisters-in-law Becky Kearney (Mike) Shuman and Suzie (Joe) Douglas; and many nieces and nephews.  John was an avid reader. Therefore, the family suggests in lieu of flowers donations to Monroe County ACE-Adult & Community Education (checks payable to MCACE), Post Office Box 712, Forsyth, GA 31029; or to Monroe Reads with Ferst (checks payable to FFCL) Post Office Box 812, Forsyth, GA 31029.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
