Lola Janelle Starr

Lola Janelle Mitchell Starr passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 722 Conley Road, Forest Park, GA 30297.  Rev. Rod Callahan will officiate.    Mrs. Starr, the daughter of the late John Henry Mitchell and Ruth Bynum Mitchell was born September 15, 1935, in Trion, Georgia. Her husband, Patrick Winburn Starr, Sr. and her son, Stephen Starr preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her children, Deborah (Larry) Daniel of Forsyth and Windy Starr of Stockbridge; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
