VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTEWanda Lynn Nipper passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017, at Gray United Methodist Church Family Life Center with burial in the Henderson Stripling Cemetery.  Rev. Jay Tucker and Rev. Brad Marchman will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Wanda, the daughter of the late Walter Lynn and Mary Lou Hamm Ball was born April 2, 1955, in Macon, Georgia. Her husband, Scotty Eugene Nipper, her daughter, Leslie Stripling, her son, Chesley Byars, her sister, Jean Peacock  and her step-father, Troy Ball preceded her in death.  She and her husband were owners of Scotty’s Muffler and she also was employed with the Jones County Board of Education.  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jordy and Sarah Nipper of Gray; grandson, Landon Tate Nipper; sister, Ann McDaniel of Macon; brother, Walter T. Lynn of Swansboro, North Carolina; mothers-in-law, Josephine Etheridge of Gray and Julia Nipper of Gordon; grandchildren, Chase Partin and Kaitlyn Stripling; and great granddaughter, Charleigh Partin.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Ga 31201.  The family may be contacted at the residence of Jordy and Sarah Nipper, 120 White Lane, Gray, GA 31032.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
