Laverne Kempson

Warner Robins . . . Lessie Laverne Watts Kempson passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017.  Services and burial will be private.  Mrs. Kempson, the daughter of the late William Henry Watts and Georgia Gertrude Scott Watts was born October 30, 1935, in Macon, Georgia. Her husband, Olin Jim Kempson preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her children, Sherry Curtis of Warner Robins and Janie (Gene) Godfrey of Rome; sisters, Dena Mae Lunsford of Forsyth, Shirley Peavy of Warner Robins and Clara Watts of Byron; brothers, Ira Henry Watts, Ronnie Watts and Hank Watts all of Forsyth; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
