Mary Lou Lynn Ball

Mary Lou Lynn Ball passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Antioch Baptist Church, 7507 Old Gordon Road, Dry Branch, Georgia 31020 with burial in the church cemetery.  Rev. Bill Linder will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Mrs. Ball, the daughter of the late William Henry Hamm and Lottie Lee Thompson Hamm was born April 9, 1928, in Jeffersonville, Georgia. Her husbands, Walter Lynn and Troy Dailey Ball, her daughter, Jean Peacock and her grandchildren, Chelsie Lynn Byers and Leslie Stripling preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her children, Walter T. Lynn of Swansboro, North Carolina, Ann McDaniel of Macon and Wanda Nipper of Jones County; sisters Doris (Raymond) Gilder of Gordon, Betty Corbin of Milledgeville, Elizabeth Hunnicutt of Ivey and Virginia Johnson of Gray; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
