Louise Thompkins Wilson

Louise Thompkins Wilson passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Russellville Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Rev. Franklin Etheridge and Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.  Mrs. Wilson, the daughter of the late Carter Thompkins and Georgia Lou Tribble Thompkins was born October 17, 1925, in Macon, Georgia. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a homemaker.  Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Mary Persons High School, a graduate of Gordon Junior College School of Nursing and a member of Russellville Baptist Church.   Survivors include her children, John (Susan) Wilson, Jr. of Roberta, Carol (Andy) Bilbo of Canton, George (Christa) Wilson of Forsyth, Judge Tommy (Penny) Wilson of Forsyth and Kay (Michael) Tribble of Jones County; sister, Harriett Craig of Calhoun: eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Russellville Baptist Church in memory of Louise Wilson, 5320 Hwy 42 S, Forsyth, GA 31029.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
