Richard Allen Dunham

Richard Allen Dunham passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia 31711.  Rev. Bryant Griffitts will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Mr. Dunham, the son of the late Richard Emerson Dunham and Emaline Marie Roeder Dunham, was born September 8, 1946, in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam.  Mr. Dunham retired from Orlando Utility, as a chemist.  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dunham of Jackson; children, Christine (Andy) Harrell of Forsyth and Michael (Alison) Dunham of Orlando, Florida; sister, Bonnie Sergeant of Fort Myers, Florida; and four grandchildren.  The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to Samaritan’s Purse, Post Office Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
