Grady Ray Vaughan

January 17, 1941 — August 3, 2016

Grady Ray Vaughan passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. 

Mr. Vaughan, the son of the late Grady Wallace Vaughan and Rossie Brown Vaughan, was born January 17, 1941, in Ft. Payne, Alabama. He was owner and operator of Tire and Trucking Company.  His children Charles Vaughan, Anthony Vaughan and Mary Louise Vaughan preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his companion, Delores Gill of Jonesboro; children, Billy Vaughan of Forsyth, Ricky Vaughan of Forsyth, Grady Vaughan of Acworth, Lisa Cowles of Griffin, Tina Johnson of Dublin and Misty Slappey of Griffin. 

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
