Nellie Frances Harris

Nellie Frances (Nell) Harris passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Walter G. Davis and John Baer will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Harris, the daughter of the late John Calvin Davis and Minnie Lee Garrison Davis was born March 12, 1932, in Ocilla, Georgia. Her husband, Roy J. Harris preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her children, Ann Higginbottom (James) Roundtree of Macon, Don Harris of Macon, Phil (Becky) Harris of Dry Branch, Ellen (Jerry) Gibson of Eatonton, Neal Harris of Macon and Frances (Dennis) Baer of Macon; brother, Walter G. (Bobby) Davis; twenty grandchildren; several generations of great grandchildren; niece, Linda Davis; and several nieces and nephews.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
