Joseph Harold Shaw

Joseph Harold “Doodie” Shaw passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Forsyth City Cemetery.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Shaw, the son of the late Seaborn Gaines Shaw and Mary Ruth Moon Shaw was born December 6, 1939, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was retired from Bibb Company and served thirteen years in the Georgia Army National Guard.  Survivors include his nephews and cousins.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
