Beverly Blain Winder, age 80, of Macon passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 1, 2016. Born in Newark, NJ, Beverly was the daughter of the late James and Marie Blain. She attended Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from Palm Beach State College with an AA degree in Radiology Technology. She belonged to Alpha Beta Kappa sorority. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, James Blain (Carol Ann) and Gerard ‘Jerry” Blain (Mary Jane), her sons, Steven Ellis and Jeff Lineback, her husband, Mark Goldsworthy Winder and Ernest Ellis, Jr., her first husband. She is survived by her daughters Jeri L. Ellis, Valerie J. Fried (Guy Sidney), her 4 grandsons and their spouses, a granddaughter, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews , Mark’s family, Dale Lineback (Leah Monroe), and many friends. She will be laid to rest at Andersonville National Cemetery on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at the home of Guy and Valerie Fried, 12 River Trace, Macon, GA 31210 Friday evening, 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Optum Hospice of Macon or the charity of your choice. Monroe County Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
