Elaine Watson Johnston

Elaine Carol Watson Johnston passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Danny Parker and Rev. Ricky Niblett will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Johnston, the daughter of the late Robert Syntell Watson and Mary Louise Hamlin Watson was born July 2, 1949, in Macon, Georgia. Her husband, Ray B. Johnston preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnston retired from Haygood, Lynch, Harris, Melton and Watson Law Firm, as a legal secretary with twenty five years of service.  Survivors include her son, Derek Johnston and Brenda Maddox of Macon; daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Christopher Mason of Macon; brothers, Buster and Evelyn Ann Watson of Macon and Mike Watson of Macon; grandchildren, Chelsea Mason, Cody Mason, Trevor Mason, Kayla Andrews, Eric Maddox and Hope Maddox. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
