Mary Ruth Maddox

Mary Ruth Maddox passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, at Maynard Baptist Church with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Dr. Gary Hopkins and Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Maddox, the daughter of the late John George Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Merritt Brooks was born August 30, 1945, in Forsyth, Georgia. She was a retired medical coding technician and a member of Maynard Baptist Church.  Survivors include her husband, Bobby Maddox of Forsyth; children, John (Jodi) Maddox of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Clay (Ginger) Maddox of Forsyth; sisters, Betty (Jimmy) Collins of Forsyth; grandchildren, Kaylynne (Blake) Andrews, Hope Maddox, Eric Maddox, Emily Maddox and Ethan Maddox.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
