Joel Manford Lucus, Jr. Forsyth . . . Joel Manford Lucus, Jr. passed away Wednesday, July 8 2015. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Steve Johnson will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Joel was born September 24, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia. His mother, Ethel Irene Brown and his brother, James Everett McTyre preceded him in death. He was a retired small engine mechanic. Survivors include his son, Michael Connor of Carrollton; step-father, Donald Brown of Forsyth; brother, Bobby D. Cole, Jr. of Roswell; grandsons, Zack and Devin Connor of Carrollton. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
