Walter Keith Evans Forsyth . . . Walter Keith Evans passed away Friday, September 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Maynard Baptist Church with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Dr. Marvin Lee and Reverend Billy Henderson will officiate. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Keith was born January 19, 1959, in Forsyth, Georgia. His father, Bobby Gene Evans preceded him in death. He was a retired paint contractor. Survivors include his children, Allison (Jeremy) Fields of Columbia, South Carolina, Kayley Evans of Olar, South Carolina and Austin Evans of Forsyth; mother, Rita Gates of Forsyth; and brother, Ronnie Evans of Forsyth. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Austin Evans Trust, c/o Robins Federal Credit Union, 76 West Johnston Street, Forsyth, GA 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
