Frederick Madison Van Vorst Forsyth . . . Frederick Madison Van Vorst died Monday, August 26, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Randy Gardner will officiate. Mr. Van Vorst, the son of the late James Everett and Grace Wisenant Everett, was born December 18, 1944, in Gadsden, Alabama. He was retired from MARTA. Survivors include his wife, Alma Van Vorst of Forsyth, children, Robert Van Vorst of Villa Rica, David Van Vorst of Aniston, Alabama, Mary Davis of Jackson and five grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
