Melba Vinson Anderson Forsyth . . . Melba Vinson Anderson died Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Raymond Steinkamp will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Anderson, the daughter of the late Grady Vinson and Desty Johnson Evans was born January 10, 1925, in Columbus, Georgia. Her husband Millard Leroy Anderson, Sr. preceded her in death. She was retired from the Monroe County Hospital. Survivors include her sons, Rodney (Linda) Anderson and Millard Anderson, Jr. of Forsyth, brother, Ed (Pauline) Vinson of Forsyth and four grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
