Hazel Shea Forsyth . . . Hazel Shea, died Monday, December 24, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Ms. Shea, the daughter of the late Remus and Lula Walker Douglas, was born June 18, 1923, in Johnson County. She was a graduate of Berry High School and received her nursing degree from Grady School of Nursing. Ms. Shea was retired from the Coliseum Hospital. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Jean Shea Crane of Forsyth, Virginia Lubowicki of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
