High Falls . . . William Robert Taylor, Jr. died Monday, October 24, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Alisha O'Reilly will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Taylor, the son of the late William Robert Taylor, Sr. and Ruth Maddox Taylor was born February 4, 1930, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Doris Taylor of High Falls, son, Steven Ryan Taylor of Forsyth, three grandchildren, Brittany Christine Taylor, Ashley Reanne Taylor and Tori Ryan Taylor, two nephews, Tommy Taylor and Terry Taylor. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
