Forsyth . . . James Arthur McWhirter died Tuesday,
October 25, 2011. Services and burial will be private.
Mr. McWhirter, the son of the late Frank James McWhirter
and Leary Taylor McWhirter, was born June 28, 1943, in
Fayetteville, Tennessee. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his sisters, Thelma McWhirter of
Fayetteville, Tennessee, Essie Herndon of Forsyth and
Dixie Gordon of Macon, brother, William McWhirter of
Laverne, Tennessee.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of
arrangements.
