Myrtle Bell Andrews Smith Hampstead, North Carolina . . . . Myrtle Bell Andrews Smith died August 18, 2012, in Hampstead, NC. She was 93 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Mike McMullan will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Myrtle, the daughter of the late John Thomas Andrews and Minnie Anderson Andrews, was born April 26, 1919, in Loretta, TN. Her husband, Clarence Sylvester Smith, preceded her in death. Myrtle is survived by one daughter, Betty Kay McMullan Rogers from Sneads Ferry, NC, two grandchildren, Thomas F. Rogers from Middleburg, Fl and Kathryn R. Ragno from Sneads Ferry, NC and one great granddaughter, Kailyn Rogers. She has two surviving brothers, Lester Andrews of Lawrenceburg, TN and Porter Andrews of Forsyth, GA. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
