James Houston Jackson

Forsyth . . . James Houston Jackson died Friday, April 13, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Reverend Danny Parker and Reverend Jesse Richardson will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Jackson, the son of the late Charles William Jackson and Louise Russell Jackson was born July 28, 1925, in Lafayette, Georgia. His son, James Wesley Jackson, preceded him in death. He was a retired boilermaker and a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn Jackson of Forsyth, children, Pat Hening of Trenton, Phyllis Rainwater of Summerville and Linda Wofford of Charleston, South Carolina, sisters, Hilda Marie McDowell of Ringold and Troyce Dean of Louisville, brother, Jimmie Jackson of Dalton and several grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
